NYSE Welcomes Hawaii’s Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. Aloha Spirit Arrives on The Big Board -- Eighth NYSE Euronext Hawaii Listing -- Aloha Shirts, Kauai Coffee and Hawaiian Leis Celebrate A&B 1st Day of Trading --

NEW YORK , Oct. 1, 2008 – Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., a leading ocean transportation and logistics, real estate and agribusiness company from Honolulu, Hawaii, began trading today on the New York Stock Exchange under the new ticker symbol “AXB” after transferring from Nasdaq.   Alexander & Baldwinis the eighth NYSE Euronext Hawaii listing to date.
