ELEMENTSSM – “Dogs of the Dow” ETN will list on NYSE Arca
NEW YORK , Nov. 8, 2007 –NYSE Euronext (NYSE Euronext: NYX) today announced that the ELEMENTSSM- "Dogs of the Dow" linked to the Dow Jones High Yield Select 10 Total Return Index due Nov. 14, 2022 , (NYSE Arca: DOD) began trading on NYSE Arca. The ELEMENTSSMDogs of the Dow ETN is issued by Deutsche Bank AG and is the 3rd ELEMENTSSM product to join NYSE Group.
“We are delighted to have the ELEMENTSSM Dogs of the Dow ETN added to the NYSE Arca’s roster of ETNs,” said NYSE Group Senior Vice President, Exchange Traded Funds and Indexes, Lisa Dallmer. “As our 20th ETN listing, the expanding ELEMENTSSM program dovetails with NYSE Euronext’s commitment to offering investors access to more investment products.”
Followed by many individual investors for over 15 years, the “Dogs of the Dow” strategy employs an equally weighted methodology, advocating investments in the ten Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) stocks with the highest dividend yield and holding them for a period of one year. Currently, all of the Dogs of the Dow components are NYSE listed companies.
