Three Initial Public Offers Joined NYSE Group, Inc. in Week Ending May 19, 2006
Fourth Restaurant Company IPO lists on NYSE in 2006  ·  First   NYSE ArcaSM listing raised $83.4 million

NEW YORK, May 19, 2006– In the week ended May 19, 2006, three initial public offerings joined the NYSE Group, Inc.’s roster of listed companies. 

On May 18, 2006, Burger King Holdings, Inc.  (NYSE: BKC) became the fourth restaurant initial public offering on the NYSE year to date. The Miami, Fla-based company is the world’s second-largest fast-food hamburger restaurant chain with more than 11,100 restaurants in all 50 states and more than 65 countries. Burger King Holdings, Inc. raised $425 million in proceeds at the Exchange.  

NYSE ArcaSM added its first new listing since the formation of NYSE Group, Inc., with the initial public offering of Darwin Professional Underwriters Inc. The Farmington, CT –based specialty insurance group began trading under the NYSE Arca ticker symbol “DR ”, on May 19, 2006.   Darwin Professional Underwriters Inc. raised $83.4 million in proceeds.

On May 19, 2006 Claymore/Raymond James SB-1 Equity Fund celebrated its initial public offering on the NYSE.    Headquartered in Lisle, IL, the newly organized, diversified, close-end management investment company began trading under the ticker symbol RYJ.
