Mr. Eubank, 43, will manage relationships between the NYSE and government policy makers around the world, including heads of state, finance ministers, cabinet officials, ambassadors and consuls generals. His responsibilities include the creation of international networking events for NYSE-listed companies. He also will coordinate visits to the Exchange by key international leaders and support trips abroad by NYSE CEO John A. Thain. Mr. Eubank will support Mrs. Kinney and the Exchange’s Competitive Position group and, in cooperation with the Exchange’s Global Corporate Client Group, support the International Advisory Committee and the participation by senior NYSE management in existing global events, including the World Economic Forum and the World Federation of Exchanges.
“Jeff has a wealth of relationships and experience with government leaders and diplomats around the world,” said Mrs. Kinney. “His knowledge will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding the Exchange’s relationships with the world community, parties who can influence the development of the market and public companies.”
From 2001-2005, Mr. Eubank was Deputy US Chief of Protocol in the administration of President George W. Bush. Between 1999-2001, he was Assistant Texas Secretary of State under Gov. Bush. Mr. Eubank served as general counsel to the Texas Secretary of State from 1997-1999 and general counsel to the Texas Department of Commerce from 1995-1997. He previously practiced law with the Houston office of Fulbright & Jaworksi.
Mr. Eubank has a Masters of Law from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, a law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a Bachelor’s from Oklahoma State University.
